The earth has great self-healing powers: |
| 1. Man pollutes the atmosphere. 2. The Earth opens a hole in the ozone layer, killing the polluters. 3. Balance is restored, and the ozone layer is renewed. |
The self-healing earth: |
| 1. Man creates a great industrial society, producing "greenhouse gases" that cause global warming. 2. The Earth's atmosphere warms, melting the polar ice caps, flooding much of the industrial society and killing many. 3. A mini ice age follows, as the earth regains its balance, killing off the remainder of the polluters. |
