Lake Chetek is one of a chain of six lakes that together make up 3,800
acres of water with more than 100 miles of picturesque shoreline. These fertile waters
produce an abundant supply of panfish for fun and easy angling. For the more serious
fisherman, there are bass, northern pike, and walleye.
Motor trolling and water skiing are allowed on the entire chain of lakes. |

Jeff Warner of North Fond du Lac, WI, caught most of these fine bass. He claims to have let a lot of them go, which is one fish story that I do believe.
|
Jeff Ehredt of Kenosha, WI, has a favorite spot for bass. This 2.96-pound, 17-in bass apparently followed him to where they were fishing for bluegill! |

Dennis and Reba Derryberry of Akron, Indiana show off three fine bass.

A quiet day on the lakes is relaxing for most, but brought Shirley Miller of Danville, Illinois, this 15 ounce black crappie. It was a good fighter. This fish would have been a prize winner. You'll prize every moment on the Chetek Chain of Lakes at Rainbow's End Resort. |

But he claims this walleye as his own! |
