Privacy

Rainbow's End Resort respects the privacy of its guests. We do not rent, lease, sell, or exchange guest or customer lists with anyone else. We collect personal information when inquiries or reservations are made. This information is maintained for mailings and as required law.

We may send email or postal mail to people, who have given us their email or mailing address, for purposes of informing them of events and happenings at the Resort or to respond to inquiries and reservation requests. Anyone not wanting to receive Resort mailings can write to us or email reservations@rainbowend.com and ask to be removed from the mailing lists.

Reservations

Rainbow's End Resort will accept reservations up to 51 weeks in advance of arrival. Reservations for the coming year from current guests are given priority as a courtesy for their continued patronage. Guests who have stayed at Rainbow's End Resort for five or more consecutive years during a particular week have priority for that week even if they skip one year.

Deposits for reservations are described below. Payment of balance due is expected on arrival.

Deposits

Deposits for cottage rentals must be paid by January 31 for reservations made prior to January 17. Deposits for reservations requested after January 17 must be paid within two weeks of the request to be confirmed. Deposits for reservations made less than a month before arrival must be received within five business days. Deposits may be paid by credit card by calling us at 1-800-576-4492.

Reservations are subject to cancellation without notice if deposit is not received when due.

A confirmation statement showing the paid deposit plus the balance due on arrival will be sent by postal mail or email on receipt of deposit. Deposits are generally refundable up to one month prior to arrival provided the cancellation is not disruptive to business, at our discretion. Deposits for cancellations made within a month of arrival are refundable if the canceled reservation time is booked by someone else. We use the web and the Chetek Resort Owner's Association to advertise cancellations.

We reserve the right to require full payment to confirm a reservation at any time, particularly for those with cancellation or late payment history. We may require a deposit at the time of reservation for first time guests or large groups.

Credit/Debit Cards

Rainbow's End Resort accepts Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards. Credit cards may be used for both deposits and balances paid on arrival.

Pets

For the safety and comfort of all our guests, pets are not allowed at Rainbow's End Resort.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome at Rainbow's End Resort when accompanying the person with a disability for whom the animal works. The animal must be properly cared for and not interfere with other guests. We may require proof of certification of the service animal.

Fireworks

Fireworks of any kind are not allowed at Rainbow's End Resort. We caution all visitors coming to Wisconsin that although you can buy fireworks in Wisconsin with an out of state ID, many of those fireworks are not legal to use in Wisconsin without a permit.

Parking

Westwood parking can accommodate two small cars. Wildwood has room to park two SUVs. Other units have parking for one vehicle. A second vehicle can be parked along the road on a space-available basis. There is also room to park one boat trailer off the road for each unit. All parking at the resort is at your own risk.
